Deborah has owned the creative consulting firm of Inspired Designs and Reflections since 1992. She's a regular Contributing Writer and Photographer for Fido Friendly magazine, Crosswalk.com and "The Fish" family of radio station websites around the country. She's been a Stephen Minister since 2008 and a Stephen Leader since 2011.
After the horrific tornado outbreak in her home state of Alabama on April 27, 2011, she recognized the need for Stephen Ministers in the Atlanta area to quickly mobilize themselves to respond to a community crisis or tragedy. So she founded the Atlanta Stephen Ministry networking group, now with nearly 100 member churches all around the metro area. They hold Continuing Education events and an annual meeting with popular speakers such as New York Times bestselling author–Cecil Murphey.
Deborah speaks to both small and large groups at churches, women's groups, networking groups, schools, and Stephen Ministers on various topics covering encouragement, spiritual growth, marriage, family, relationships, suicide, divorce and others.
